text effect

My word that i use through school does not have a " text effect". I need this for an assignment and none of the suggestions to help me find it isnt helping.

    Which version of Word are you running? A full version under Windows or Mac OS? A mobile version, for example on an iPad?

    Or are you using the browser version of Word?

    In Word for Windows, you can apply Text Effects via the Font dialog box. Press Ctrl+D to display the dialog box and then click Text Effects.

    Other types of text effects can be applied to text inside a shape or text box. On the Shape Format tab, click Text Effects (in the WordArt Styles group) and then choose shadows, reflections, glow, bevel, 3D rotation and transforms:
