Dear Microsoft Community,

I work in a Public Government office in which we have the corporate licenses to use Microsoft based/trusted applications/programs, as Microsoft 365 and the QR4OFFICE.

Sometimes, we use QR4OFFICE to generate QR codes and to get a link embeded within Word texts and/or Excel spreadsheets to be displayed to everyone on our corporate cloud environment .

Based on the above arguments, would like to now:

1 - Does the QR4OFFICE has an unlimited time for use/validity for QR codes generate on such application?

2 - Does the QR4OFFICE has limited range for characters/content?

Would like to have your comments/opinion on QR4OFFICE.

Thank You all in advance for your help!

Krgds,

José Maurício jardim

You may be able to do what you need using the built-in, but poorly documented, DisplayBarCode and companion MergeBarCode fields.

See also MVP Graham Mayor's Insert BarCode add-in.

    Dear JOSÉ MAURÍCIO JARDIM,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft community. We are glad to help you.

This add-in QR4OFFICE was not an add-in published by Microsoft as a part of Microsoft365 subscriptions, the add-in was published by a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft -- Michael Zlatkovsky in the Microsoft store. We would like to help you but we couldn't find any related articles or threads to explain the limitations in this add-in. So we recommend you to post a thread in stack overflow with office-addins tag and ask for Michael's help. Here is his profile: User Michael Zlatkovsky - Microsoft - Stack Overflow. This would be a more efficient way in handling this case for you.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! Hope you are keeping safe and well.

    Sincerely,

    Sean | Microsoft Community Moderator
