    Hi ilidia,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and hope are doing well.

Regarding the over a period of time and files created I lose access to files and don't know how to retrieve them you mentioned, does it mean that after you log in to OneDrive, you find that there is no previously saved and synchronized content? Has this kind of problem happened before?

This article is about how to sync with OneDrive:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive

Because this problem may involve multiple aspects and may be related to various reasons such as your operation/network/OneDrive server/bug.

Sorry I may not be able to help you directly with this, but I think I can at least direct me to the right place:

You can directly call our service line and ask the team about OneDrive related questions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

    or

To get in touch with them, please follow these steps: sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser, click the ? help icon on the top banner of the page and selectEmail OneDrive support.

Or else, you may contact them in your OneDrive app by following these steps: Click on Files > choose Help & Feedback > select Ask for Help. Type your query and click Send.

Once it’s submitted, one from our OneDrive Support Team will respond to you within 24-72hours. Please take note that the waiting time may vary depending on the volume of all the submitted tickets.

Rest assured that they will be able to exhaust all resources to resolve your concern.
