Purchase Microsoft Access stand-alone

Hi there,

I am a university student that requires Microsoft Access for a course.

From what i can see, I am only able to purchase a bundle of products and not select them individually.

Is there a way to purchase only Microsoft Access?

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft forum.

In many cases, schools and universities provide their students and faculty with Microsoft 365 education subscription. As you mentioned, you are a university student, I will suggest you first check with your school administrator department to confirm if they provide Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

If so, check which Microsoft 365 subscription you are given, if it is Microsoft/Office 365 A1, it will not include Office desktop apps, as the mentioned subscription only have Office for the web and Access does not have a web version.

In case, your university provide Microsoft 365 Apps for Education or Office 365 E3/E5, simply follow the steps in the following article to install desktop apps.

Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on a PC or Mac

For some reason, you still need purchase Microsoft Access, you can consider purchasing the standalone version:
