Remove Paragraph break in References

Hi,

How do I remove or edit properties of the paragraph break (highlighted in red) in between the reference and the line above it? Screenshot below.

    Your screen shot looks like a footnote.

    See if the footnote separator includes an extra paragraph mark. In that case, you can remove the para mark by backspacing.

    To access the footnote separator for editing, switch to Draft view (View > Draft). Then click Show Notes in the Footnotes group on the References tab. In the footnotes pane, choose "Footnote separator."
