Lists Comment Icon Missing

The comment icon in my MS list is missing. I've removed all formatting from the column - I read somewhere that is the issue - but still no icon is visible.

    Dear Laurie Armstrong,

    Thanks for writing back and sharing the requested information with us.

    As per the further updates, it seems the problem started to happen after formatting the columns in the Microsoft List, so I tested by formatting one of the columns in the List and after I save the JSON code, the comment icon is not displayed, then I removed the formatting, the comment icon is back.

    However, the problem only happens when you apply the formatting for the title column. So, can I know whether you applied the formatting for the title column in the list?

    I just went back and checked the 'advanced' field and removed the json in the box and now the comment icon appears.

    Is this the only way to know when/if a comment has been left? Can workflows or rules be applied to indicate when a comment is left?

    Yes, I did apply formatting to that column and as per my original post, I removed the formatting but still no icon. Unless, I'm not removing it entirely? How would I know?

    1. The problem is happening with one list. It was there and has now disappeared.
    2. Yes, other users are unable to see the icon.
    3. I don't recall exactly when the problem began. I just noticed it.

    Per the description shared, I would like to summarize the problem i.e., you are not able to see the comment icon on the items of the Microsoft lists.

    If my understanding is correct, I tested the behavior at my end by opening the existing list in the Microsoft Lists, where I can see the comment icon when hover my mouse over the item:

    So, I would like to confirm some scenarios which will be helpful for us to better understand and move further:

    1. Does the problem happens to a specific list or all lists?
    2. Do other users also have the same problem?
    3. Does the problem started to happen after the formatting the columns in the List?
