I have heard about SharePoint from many people. I started exploring on internet but didn't get much satisfactory.

I would like to learn SharePoint on-premises so that I can explore i have heard about its some good functionalities

Please help me and share some good content books sites. anything which can give me knowledge of this.

I will help you learn the basics of SharePoint. Starting from the type of SharePoint, there are two types (1) SharePoint Online (aka SharePoint in Microsoft 365) and (2) SharePoint on-premises/ Server.

SharePoint online stays up to date. New features/ Upgrades are available in SharePoint online as they are released.

SharePoint on-premises/ Server- SharePoint on-premises/server follows the Fixed Lifecycle Policy which means it has defined support and servicing Lifecycle timeline at the time of product launch. SharePoint on-prem is deployed on a server(local).
