Remove Office Title Bar

I know this request by paying users has been submitted many times over the years, but maybe Microsoft could stop ignoring it??

PLEASE remove the title bar. We can't move our windows around without renaming something or opening up a marketing link (coming soon) or putting our document into an email. I (and many many others) have zero use for any links on the top bar except minimize, maximize and close. At some point someone at Microsoft made the choice to litter that whole bar with things that do this and do that and do the other thing but nobody asked for that. There are set standard methods for renaming or searching or undoing. Please remove this.

    As per your description, it seems that you want to remove office title bar for easier use.

    Personally, I completely agree with you, this is indeed a good addition to the experience of the Microsoft Office user interface. It would be definitely ideal if the title bar can be modified or removed based on user's needs. We do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

    As forum support, our category mainly focus on the general troubleshooting steps with the issues of office 365 products, and we don't have enough permission and resources to connect with the Product Team to provide feedback to change the Office design.

    We've searched through Office 365 Roadmap, for now, there is no related info for user interface change with Office client desktop app, there's a look change for the web Office.

    Given this situation, we'd sincerely recommend you use in-app Feedback by going to Office app - File - Feedback and send feedback on the feedback portal. Product Team is in-charge of the feedback site, and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customers. This is the quickest route to get your feedback to the developers’ ears.
