Sync Whiteboards with OneNote

I can't seem to sync or send Microsoft Whiteboards to OneNote. Various sources online suggest there should be such an option for people with education accounts. I am signed in with my university account which has Microsoft 365 A3 for faculty and Office 365 A1 Plus for faculty licenses, which list Whiteboard plan 1 and plan 2. But I don't see this option to send to OneNote where it should be. The share button only gives me the option to invite colleagues or share a link.

I am most interested in doing this from an android app, but it doesn't work on the windows app or web version. I am signed in with the same university account in all cases.

Thanks!

    Hello

I am Abdal and I would be glad to help you with your question.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble syncing or sending Microsoft Whiteboards to OneNote. Here are some steps that you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Ensure that you have the latest version of both Microsoft Whiteboard and OneNote installed on your device.

Check that you are signed in with the correct account that has access to both Microsoft Whiteboard and OneNote. You mentioned that you are using your university account, so make sure that this account has the necessary permissions.

Try to connect your Microsoft Whiteboard and OneNote accounts.

If the option to send to OneNote is still not available, try to export the Whiteboard as a PDF and then insert the PDF file into OneNote.

Regarding your question about doing this from an android app, the steps should be similar to the ones outlined above. Make sure that you have the latest versions of both apps installed on your Android device and that you are signed in with the correct account. You may need to adjust your device's settings to allow the apps to connect and share data.

    I hope this information helps.

    Regards,

    Abdal
