paste into excel without formatting using only keyboard shortcut?

Hi,

I have to copy and paste individual values into cells a lot.

is there any way I can force a keyboard shortcut to always paste into excel without formatting? Ctrl-v pastes with formatting, other options such as ctrl-shift-v and the many suggestions online do not work when I try them or they are for old versions of excel and what they show in the advanced options menus do not match what I am seeing.

right clicking to choose the option to "paste without formatting" is too slow, I'm doing this multiple times a minute.

I am using excel as part of office 365.

    Hi Lloyd. I am an Excel user like you.

    If you haven't already considered it, I need to paste values frequently so I have placed an icon for Paste Values in my Quick Access Toolbar so that I can do that in one click without opening those paste menus.

    1. Click on the dropdown arrow in the Quick Access Toolbar section and choose More Commands.
    2. In the window change the list to All Commands.
    3. Scroll down to Values and select the best Paste Values option for your use.
    4. Click on Add in the middle and then click OK.

    The icon will be added to the quick access toolbar so that you can just click once in the Quick Access Toolbar to paste values.

    Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    As per your description, since you only want keyboard shortcut, unfortunately there no single combination way to do this, but based on my test try to Paste the data as you would normally do (such as using Control + V). this would paste the data as well as the formatting from the copy data>Hit the control key twice in quick succession and Press the V key.
