i have some VBA code i am trying to debug. i have done this before without issue. i go to the Sub kg () line and hold CTRL while clicking F8. the line executes. then, i click F8 and it executes the next line and so on. then, after a few lines execute 1 by 1, the next click of F8 tries to run the remaining code and stops going line by line.
does anyone know how to fix this where it will go line by line?

After I killed excel it seemed to start working so i will mark this as fixed. i saw others in the past had posted something similar but i did not see the answer so i thought i would ask. TY. posting fixed with reboot.
