    Dear respected Suki Lau1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

I’m sorry you’re having a problem with installing Office 2019 using ODT but based on your description we can work together to resolve it.

For the situation you encountered, we deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

As per your description, you tried to delete the previous/pre-installed Office 365 on your Windows 11 OS and also turn off all antivirus, proxy and firewall etc. but the same error message persists.

I suspect this issue might be raised by your local environment (Settings, Registry).

Given this situation, I would suggest you follow the methods below and see if they could help in your scenario:

1.Perform aClean Boot under your Windows 11, and check if issue persist.

2.Create a new user account under your Windows 11. See if it still alerts you with the same error message.

    Workaround:

Firstly, I apologize for this because it consumes little time of yours.

If above doesn't work, then here I suggest you one trick (I believe this tick can work): Use ODT on a Windows 10 Machine, and later upgrade to Windows 11 after installation. For example, install/reinstall Window 10 on my computer and use ODT to install Office 2019 on your Windows 10 OS and then after that, you can try upgrade to Windows 11.

We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial suggestions may not resolve the problem very soon. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
