How do you delete a loop component?

Hello All!

I created a new component in an email and sent it to my own email address. I can see the loop component in the Loop recent page, but I cannot delete it. Is this possible? If not, why not?

Kind Regards,

Dermot

    Hello!

I just found a way to do it on my own. Not sure if there are formal instructions. I went to my office.com home page, searched for "Loop", selected the three dots to the right of the component, selected "open file location", and deleted it from there.

Thank you for taking a look at this for me, Jason!

I don't know why you think this relates to Excel. I never mentioned it in my post. Maybe you've confused my post with another.

I want to delete the actual Loop component itself. This is the scenario I am working with stated in a more step-by-step way:

    • I create a Loop component in an Outlook email (web version)
    • I send the email
    • I delete the sent email completely (i.e. also remove it from the "Deleted" folder)
    • When I look in the "Recents" section of Loop I can still see the component I created
    • I cannot find a way to delete the component even after waiting a 24 hours

    I hope this is clearer.

    Kind Regards,

    Dermot Doran

yeah, my loops are in a looping death spiral of non-deletion.

There's no delete function from the list of Recent Components and pages in the Loop app/browser, wouldn't that be the simplest place to manage these from.

and can't delete them from office.com as it says they are part of a workspace

and even though I can delete the page in the workspace that held the component, it still wont delete from office.com.

I can't find them in OneDrive attachments which is supposed to be the storage location.

When I try and open a component from office.com it will open and the left panel flickers between the workspace name and "go to workspace" and the URL is constantly changing.

the component is not associated with any of the pages in the workspace,

the component names that are visible on the edit screen dont seem to get synced with the file name in office so you often can't tell which component is which.

This does not seem stable enough or navigable enough to be ready for prime time, which is a shame cos I love the concept.

    Hi,

Did you ever find a way to delete a Loop component directly?
