I have a problem with an Excel file that won't allow you to save. There are no errors when loading or looking, only when I try to save.

The full error is

Run-Time error '1004'

this file is locked. Try the command again later.

The file is on a shared drive, and others can edit and save the doc.

I have looked for the file that's meant to fix the error but can not find it.

And I have altered the trust settings.

This is on an up to date version of office 2019

    1: it is a network-shared drive

    3: any in this folder

    4: office pro

5:I don't believe it is protected.

Also, I forgot to mention we did check the permissions and tried an older file. He also had permission to access any file the Excel needed.

    1. Can you please specify the drive where it was shared to collaborate with others?
    2. Please provide screenshot of the error message.
    3. Is this only happening to a one specific file?
    4. Please provide the exact edition of your Office 2019 version. ex. Office 2019 Home and Business
