Hello! -

I am trying to confirm how to programmatically generate an Excel file using the content of a web page or server-side SQL query. For the client I am using Javascript and HTML and for the backend I am using PHP and MySql.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Best,

Joe Donaldson

    Dear Joe,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Sorry to say that I don't have much experience with PHP, but I think there are some open source libraries you can use to generate Excel files with PHP. Or you may accomplish this with other programming language like JS or Python.

Kindly note that such programming question is not supported in this community. The best place for asking programming related queries is Newest Questions - Stack Overflow. You can post the question there for assistance on this.

    Best Regards,
