Hi there Crush! I'm Lumie an independent consultant and Microsoft user like you! =) I can see you're having an issue with your media player, this looks like an error with your media player directly.

Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches and errors.

Restart your laptop and check if the error persists.

Update Windows Media Player:

Make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player installed on your laptop.

To check for updates, follow these steps:

Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.

Click on "Update & Security" and then select "Windows Update."

Click on "Check for updates" and install any available updates for Windows Media Player.

Reset Windows Media Player: Resetting Windows Media Player can help fix configuration issues.

Follow these steps to reset it:

Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

Type "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter - This will open the Programs and Features window.

In the left pane, click on "Turn Windows features on or off.

Scroll down and locate "Media Features." Expand it.

Uncheck the box next to "Windows Media Player."

Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Restart your laptop.

Repeat the above steps to re-enable Windows Media Player.

Restart your laptop again and check if the error is resolved.

Use an alternative media player:

If the issue persists, you can try using an alternative media player such as VLC Media Player or MPC-HC.

These players support a wide range of media formats and are generally more flexible and robust.

If none of these work, it would be an issue with the media you are trying to display in particular, this could be corruption or damage.

I hope these tips help, let me know if I can be of any more assistance. =)
