Onenote sync issue

Hi,

I am having trouble loading contents from my onenote from different devices.
I am assuming that it has something to do with the syncing issue that I am going through.

My company uses onenote, and I ve been experiencing sync issue with the program.

It keeps on saying "We're having trouble syncing. Click here to sign in again and fix the isse."
Following the given instruction, I have tried signing in and out, a number of times, but could not fave the message go away. the notes I created would not show on my ios onenote app - It shows that I have a record of creating such notes, but when I click on it to load the notes, it keeps on saying that it can not load the apps, and i may not have the right to do so (I was logged on my company account on my app so I should have the rights.) I am assuming that it has something to do with the onedrive issue, as it also show that I am having a syncing issue 000000QJ.bin file syncing.. rest of my programs including outlook, teams, etc seems to work just fine when it come to syncing even with my ios apps on my phone.

    Hi Mia, thanks for the reply.

    I have tried a number of times in different networks, and different laptops as well.
    But for some reason, I am having trouble syncing most of my notes.
    Only 2 out of 12 notebooks are synced w/o any issues.
    The rest remain Not synced.

    I hope to resolve this frustrating situation :(

    • the notes seemed to share the same pathway, the same folder where they are all saved

    and for the IOS app, the app is updated to its latest version.
    Seems obvious, but the app seems to be unable to access the notes that are not currently synced

    Dear Shin David,

    Good day!! Thanks for posting your concern in this Microsoft Community.

    First, I would like to convey that the OneNote Notebooks will sync to the cloud by it's own mechanism and doesn't depend on the OneDrive app or OneDrive sync.

    Coming to your problem, it seems you are having two issues i.e., you are not able to sync the Notebooks in your OneNote apps and not able to open the Notebooks in the OneNote app on your iOS device. If yes, lets narrow down the problem one by one:

    Sync issue:

    Since you have already tried to sign out and sign in with no success, I would like to suggest you to switch your network connection and see whether the sync issue persists. If still yes, please check whether the sync issue with the specific Notebook or al Notebooks? If it's specific Notebook, please check whether the sync issue with specific pages in the Notebook.

    Notebook not able to open in the OneNote on iOS device:

    Please check whether you are using the latest version of the OneNote app on the iOS device. Open the App Store> Search for OneNote and click on it> Click on the Update.

    If the above methods didn't help, please share us the current updates after trying the above steps so we can proceed further.
