If your Microsoft Excel app is not opening on your MacBook Pro and a pop-up window appears with the message "Microsoft Excel quit unexpectedly," follow these steps to reload the app:

    Step 1: Check for Updates

    1. Open the App Store on your MacBook Pro.
    2. Click on the "Updates" tab to check if an update is available for Excel.
    3. If an update is available, click "Update" to install it.

    Step 2: Restart Your Computer

    1. Click on the Apple menu at the top-left corner of the screen.
    2. Select "Restart" from the drop-down menu.
    3. Wait for your MacBook Pro to restart, then try opening Excel again.

    Step 3: Repair Office

    1. Open the "Applications" folder on your MacBook Pro.
    2. Find the Microsoft Office folder and open "Microsoft Office Setup Assistant."
    3. Follow the prompts to repair the Office installation.

Step 4: Uninstall and Reinstall Excel

    1. Drag the Excel application from the "Applications" folder to the trash.
    2. Go to the Microsoft website and download the latest version of Excel for Mac.
    3. Install the software and try opening Excel again.
