Excel on a Mac issue

I don't usually use Excel and am struggling. I have a mailing list that I have to send to a printer, but I first need to remove "hidden rows," and the instructions I was given are:

Go to "File." Select "Info."

Then "Check for issues."

And "Inspect "

Check "Hidden Rows and Columns" and

Click "Inspect." Under "Hidden Rows and Columns,"

Click "Remove All."

Sounds easy, but I'm using Excel for Mac, and there is no "Info" under "File," and I can't find "Check for issues" or "Document Inspector" or any of the other steps anywhere.

Help!?!

The entire row including the row numbers of Hidden rows do not display so the numbers may run, e.g., 1,2,3,6,8,10, etc. if rows 4,5,7 & 9 are Hidden. Additionally there may be a heavier dividing line between the row numbers preceding & following the Hidden rows.

The area marked with the red bracket illustrates both indicators based on the above example:

I don't understand what you're having trouble with... there only are 2 steps involved:

    1. Command+A to select the entire sheet, then
    2. go to Format> Row in the main menu & select the Unhide command.

This will Unhide [not delete] all Hidden rows.

NOTE: I made absolutely no mention of using the Delete Row command. If you do any content in the Hidden rows will be deleted from the sheet.

The instructions you were given pertain to Excel for Windows, but you don't need all that rigamarole in the first place, even on a Windows PC :-).

While viewing the sheet go to Edit> Select All [or use the Command+A keyboard shortcut] then go to Format> Row - Unhide.

    Hi Bob,

Thank you for your response. It's the next step that I am having trouble with.

How are hidden rows displayed -- I am not seeing any in the document but I don't know what to look for i.e. how they're displayed, (so maybe there aren't any?) If there are hidden rows, how do I delete them? Just one by one "delete row" or is there a universal action as described in the original instructions I received?

    Thanks again.
