I use one Excel file on my laptop and my iPad, as well as online, and I always save the document, but after saving it on my laptop, I cannot continue working on it on my iPad and vice versa, Excel always asks me to save a new copy, so I have now 4 copies all with different data in it...

To work seamlessly on one Excel document using different devices but the same account, you need to make sure that you are saving the document to a cloud-based storage service like OneDrive or SharePoint.

Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Open the Excel document on your laptop and click on the "File" tab.
    2. Click on "Save As" and select OneDrive or SharePoint as the location to save the document.
    3. Give the document a name and click on "Save".
    4. Now, open the same document on your iPad using the Excel app.
    5. Click on "Open" and select the document from OneDrive or SharePoint.
    6. You can now work on the document on your iPad and save it to OneDrive or SharePoint.
    7. When you go back to your laptop, open the same document from OneDrive or SharePoint, and you will see the changes you made on your iPad.

By saving the document to a cloud-based storage service, you can access the same document from different devices and continue working on it without creating multiple copies.
