Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Debbi,
Thanks for your question. Transferring Microsoft 365 to a new computer is pretty straightforward.
Firstly, if you do not plan to use Microsoft 365 on your old computer, it is suggested that you sign out of Microsoft 365 on that device. To do this, open any Office application on the old computer, go to "Account" or "File" > "Account," and choose "Sign Out" or "Sign Out of Office."
If you plan to use Microsoft 365 on your old computer, no action is need on that device, but know that you may use Microsoft 365 on up to 5 computers.
Now to get Microsoft 365 on your new computer, go to www.office.com on that device. Login to your account, and once you are logged in, there should be a button that says "Install apps". Run that installer and follow any steps needed to install Microsoft 365. Once the apps are installed, you will be prompted to activate your subscription. Sign in with your Microsoft account, and the activation should happen automatically.
I hope this helps. Let me know if it worked for you, or if you need additional help. Thanks.
