In addition to George's suggestions, please verify that you're saving as PPTX and *not* the older PPT format.

    Hi khawaja khalil,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, I would like to collect more information about the situation.

    1. To troubleshoot the situation, please try to set PowerPoint into Safe Mode, then test again. Check if the situation still happens or not.

Close PowerPoint first, press win + R, in the Run box, type powerpnt /safe, and click OK.

    1. Could you please record a video about your steps and the situation? It will help us to test on our side.

You can use any 3rd party app or use PowerPoint (click the Recording tab> Screen Recording) to record the video. After that, please upload it to any online drive, like OneDrive, then share the file link with us.

    1. Please provide your Office version and product information. It will help us to test the same version on our side. You can click File> Account, please take a full screenshot of the current interface.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
