    Watermarks are objects (shapes, images or text boxes) which are anchored to the header paragraph in your document. If you display headers/footers, for example by double-clicking the header area, you can then select and delete any watermark that you want to get rid of.

    The screen shot below illustrates an "active" header and a selected watermark. You can get rid of a selected watermark by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.
