    Hi respected Allison McDonald1,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time doing.

And I appreciate your kind words.

As per your above screenshot, I believe you are using OneNote for web (online) version. And the templates feature in OneNote is only available in OneNote 365 desktop client app.

To use the templates feature you may open your notebook in OneNote 365 desktop client app. To perform above steps, you need to have OneNote 2016 for Windows application. Refer to this article to install the OneNote 2016 for Windows application.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

I am in the View on the Ribbon and there is no Paper Size option to be seen. Hence, I can't see the Save As template option.

    Dear respected Allison McDonald1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    As per your description,

to create your own OneNote template:

1.Add a new page from the +Add Page button on the right-hand side of your screen.

2.To adjust the size of your page, click on Paper Size and set the desired paper size and print margins.

3.Add any headings you’d like. When you save these into a template, they will appear whenever you create a new page from that template.

4.Once you’ve added all your content, head back to the paper size pane and click on “Save current page as a template.” Give the template a name that will make it easy to find later, and then save it.

    To use your OneNote template:

1.From a new blank page, select theInsert tab > Page Templates.

2.If you want to use the one you just created, click on My Templates and find yours. ****

Also, there are official templates for OneNote. Here is article for your reference:

Apply a OneNote template to a page

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
