I’m trying to play some music files on One drive app on my iphone , but keep receiving error message: “Audio can’t be played. There was a problem playing the video. Please try again later.”

These are music files only- no video.

How can I get my music files to play ?

Thanks & have a great day !

Hello Shirlee N,

I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. If you are trying to stream the audio files from OneDrive, a poor or intermittent internet connection may cause playback issues. Connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network or check your cellular data connection.
  2. OneDrive App Update: Make sure that your OneDrive app is up to date. An outdated app may have bugs or compatibility issues that could be resolved in a newer version. Visit the App Store on your iPhone to check for updates.
  3. Device Restart: Sometimes, restarting your iPhone can help resolve temporary glitches or conflicts. Try restarting your device and then open the OneDrive app to see if the issue persists.
  4. Reinstall OneDrive: If none of the above steps work, you might consider uninstalling and reinstalling the OneDrive app. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues with the app.
  5. Check File Integrity: Ensure that the audio files are not corrupted. Try playing them on another device or using a different media player to confirm that the files themselves are not the problem.

Best Regards, Shalom
