Microsoft 365 sharing not working

Question

I have 365 family package and have tried 'sharing' it to family members using the email invite. They receive the invite, it opens up their 365 homepage with the que to 'join now.' When they click join now, they receive the following message, 'Looks like this invitation is not working. You'll have to contact the person who invited you and ask them to share the subscription with you.' I have also sent them the 'link' method which gives the same response. My subscription is active and has 5 remaining subscriptions to share. Very frustrating. Please advise, thank you

Hello,

I am sharing my subscription with my sister. It worked before, but now she can only view her emails. She cannot respond, forward or open attachments. What happened? What do I need to do?

My subscription payment is current.

I understand that you cannot share your family Microsoft 365 subscription with other people.

Do you still have an active Microsoft Office 365 subscription in your family? Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services.

If sending an email invite doesn't work, you can try adding yourself directly to a member of their family group and then sharing it with you
