SwiftKey doesn't work on Excel

It didn't work on an oppo I had before and it doesn't work on my sony xperia 1 v. The menu bar above the predictive text goes missing in Excel. Hope there is a way to fix this.

    I'm having the same issue, SwiftKey predictive text is disabled while using Excel on Android. I don't understand why SwiftKey would be considered 3rd party, both of these apps are from Microsoft!

    I find the SwiftKey "Flow" setting does not work with Excel. However, the same setting works fine with Gboard. It's annoying having to switch keyboards all the time.
