Spell check issues

It has been over a year with this problem. Can we get an update on when the spell check will start functioning? It ID's misspelled words, but you cannot get suggested spellings to come up. So if it is a word that I can't spell I'm forced to open another window or application to try to spell it.

Also auto cap at the start of a sentence isn't working either.

    Which version of Word is this?

    If spelling suggestions are not shown if you simply click inside a word, you should be able to see spelling suggestions on the context menu if you right-click the word.
