I cannot print from my Microsoft 365 word documents. My husband can print the document on his laptop, but I cannot on mine. I keep getting a Server Error 404.

Yes, I was! Problem resolved after completely installing Word. Very simple solution - my assumptions that the process had been completed was incorrect.
I believe that my OS is too new for updates to our old printer, however my husband's laptop has the identical OS as mine and he is able to print from 365.
I am able to print from my desktop and if I go a few extra steps to download the document that I've been working on in Word in 365, the printer works.
Additionally, I have been able to print Excel documents from 365.
So this still is not resolved. Not sure what to do next. I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it.
I haven't tried the resolve Microsoft 365 yet, but I just added my account today.
Hi Lavonne,
Thank you for reaching out. My name is Furkaan, a user just like you. I’d be happy to help you with your concerns. A 404 error typically means something isn't found on a server. In this case, it likely doesn't point to a problem with Microsoft Word itself, but an issue with how your computer interacts with the printing process. Here are a few things to try:
Check Printer Connection:
Make sure your printer is properly turned on and physically connected to your computer with a cable or verified on your network. Update Printer Driver:
Outdated printer drivers can cause printing issues. Try updating your printer driver by following your printer manufacturer's instructions. You can usually find them on their website. Clear Print Queue:
Sometimes a clogged print queue can prevent printing. Try clearing the print queue: Search for "view print jobs" and open the queue. Cancel any stuck jobs and clear the queue. Reinstall Printer:
If the above steps don't work, try reinstalling your printer. Uninstall it from your computer's settings and then download and reinstall the latest driver from the manufacturer's website. Microsoft 365 Repair:
In some cases, a repair of your Microsoft 365 installation might resolve the issue. Search for "Repair Office 365" and follow the steps provided by Microsoft.
