Clipchamp for Work - delete project

Hi there, there doesn't seem to be an option to delete projects in the app, and the published guide for doing so appears to be for Clipchamp personal only. Deleting the associated project folder does not remove the project from the app's list, and opening the project restores the folder to OneDrive. Can anyone advise?

This is harder than it should be

    To delete:

    1. Open Onedrive online
    2. Open folder Videos -> Clipchamp
    3. Select and delete the projects

I see this is possible when launching the browser app at microsoft365.com. This functionality should probably be added to the desktop app!

Where did you say the Delete Options or Settings was? Please provide a screenshot because I can't find it.

I don't believe they're available in the app, despite Deeksha's post. If you go to https://www.office.com/launch/clipchamp in a browser you can click the three dots next to a project and delete from there.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. My name is Deeksha and I'm a Microsoft user like yourself and I will try to help you as best as I can today.

Step 1: Open the Project Launch Clipchamp. Navigate to the project list. Click on the project you want to delete to open it (if that’s necessary for the deletion process).

Step 2: Look for the Deletion Option Within the Project Once the project is open, look for an "options" or "settings" menu. This is often represented by three dots (…) or a gear icon. Click on it to see if there is a "Delete" or "Remove" option.

Step 3: Attempt to Delete from the Main Dashboard If no delete option is available within the project: Return to the main dashboard where all projects are listed. Right-click on the project or click the three-dot menu associated with the project. Look for a "Delete" or "Trash" icon.

Step 4: Confirm the Deletion If you find a delete option, select it. You may be prompted to confirm the deletion. Confirm that you want to delete the project. The project should now be removed from the list.

Step 5: Check OneDrive for Residual Files Since projects are often synced to OneDrive: Open OneDrive. Navigate to the Clipchamp folder. Delete any residual files related to the project manually.

Step 6: Contact Support if Needed If none of these steps work, you may need to contact Microsoft Clipchamp support. Use the support option within the app or go to the official Microsoft Clipchamp support page. Provide details about the issue and ask for step-by-step assistance.

Additional Tips: Check for Updates: Make sure your Clipchamp app is updated to the latest version as newer versions might have addressed this issue.

Restart the App: Sometimes, a simple restart of the app can refresh the interface and might show the delete option that wasn't appearing before.

Check for Trash or Archive: Some apps have a "Trash" or "Archive" section where deleted projects go before being permanently deleted.

Try these steps and hopefully, it resolves your issue. In case you need further help or assistance, please let us know. You can also contact Microsoft Support if the problem persists.

    Best regards Deeksha
