Add Task buttons in Planner

The Add Task Buttons on top of buckets disappeared, when refreshing browsers, they come alive instantly and disappears again. That happens also when using Teams (new and old). I have tried many browsers, cleared cookies and cache but had the same issue. That is happening only at a couple of desktops that are using the same 365 account to see the tasks. No issue with other members at other PCs. I logged out and sign in also, but the same issue. What else should I try? We use Planner for a major daily tasks in production. Please advise.

Issue resolved after elevating to Microsoft 365 support. The answer is when an account is on a Shared Mailbox with full privileges to another user, the issue with adding tasks in Planner occurs. I reverted the Shared Mailbox to regular and issue resolved. I did not try though to add in Planner members  the relevant  shared mailbox user, to check if he had privileges to add tasks and buttons to work. If someone went further on this please advise, otherwise I will post again when test it.

I removed the associated memeber with the issue and add it again from 365 admin center, as i am an owner of the group, but the issue still remains.

    Dear Aristotelis Ioannidis,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how important it is for you to have the necessary permissions to use Planner effectively. To have trouble shooting, could you please contact your admin to help check below information and share with us?

    1. Could you please check which group the plan is linked to? You can find this by clicking "Share" in Planner. Once identified, kindly verify whether you are added as a Member and share a screenshot for reference, like below.

    1. Next, please go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Teams & Groups, locate the corresponding group, and check if you are also listed as a Member there. In some cases, being an Owner alone may not be sufficient, and the user must also be explicitly assigned as a Member. If possible, please share a screenshot of this membership status as well.

    1. If you are already a member in both locations, please try removing your account from the group and then re-adding as a Member via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to refresh her permissions.

Please let us know the results, and we’ll be happy to assist further.

    Best Regards,
