Microsoft To Do and clocks changes

Hi, whenever the clocks change all of my reminders move back to the previous day. The 'due date' says the same, and the reminder time, but the date just suddenly changes to 24 hours earlier.

I've seen mothers complain about this as well, so I assume it's a glitch. Is a fix coming?

I have the exact same issue. Recurring tasks with reminders were created during regular time (EST). Now, clocks have switched to Daylight Savings (EDT) and reminders pop-up an hour later.

Moreover, when traveling to a foreign country with a different time zone, reminders still popped up based on EST, not local time.

It sounds that either reminders are hard coded in Zulu time, or they are served from the server based on the time zone of the account instead of the device.

    Dear NickHorst,

Hello! Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with the Microsoft To Do app related to clock changes.

Do you mean that when the clock changes due to daylight saving time or other time adjustments, all your reminder dates are automatically moved 24 hours earlier, from the preset due date to the previous day?

I tried creating some reminders and then simply adjusted the current time zone to change the clock. I couldn't directly reproduce your issue. I think this may be some system problem or as you mentioned, it is a glitch.

Unfortunately, as a community agent, we can try to help you at the technical level. However, we are not involved in the development and design of any application. We sincerely recommend that you report the problem to Microsoft. Microsoft values every user's feedback and this can help Microsoft better understand the problem.
