A collaborative workspace app in Microsoft 365 designed to help teams co-create, stay organized, and work together in real time across apps and devices.
Dear Michael Warhola1,
Good day to you!
I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out to our Microsoft Community Forum. We will be happy to help you.
According to your description, one user using component filters the grid is then changed for someone else who has the component open. This is the common issue when multiple users interact with the same component simultaneously. Based on our test reproduced the issue.
Currently, Microsoft Loop is designed for real-time collaboration, meaning changes made by one user are instantly reflected for all users. At the moment, Loop does not provide built-in support for user-specific views or filters—everyone sees the same data in a shared workspace.
As workaround, instead of using a single component, create a separate instance of the component for each user.
Additionally, if you would like to request a specific feature in Microsoft Loop, I recommend sending feedback to Microsoft.
I believe this concern requirement should be submitted to product team on Feedback portal so that they can make specific configuration in Microsoft Loop. I do understand your concerns about how it can help you be more productive in your daily work schedule, but since it's related Microsoft 365 product services and features development related concern, and your thoughts and suggestions are important and play a vital role in shaping the future of Microsoft product. I believe that the related product team can develop some convenient configuration based on customer requests.
Therefore, Microsoft recommend submitting feedbackby going in Loop · Community.
This community team and the Microsoft product development team are separate. Therefore, for features suggestions or design queries, users need to submit feedback to the Microsoft product design team from their side. Once a user sends feedback through the above means, it will send directly to Microsoft and routed to the relevant product team so that can review it to do specific development in product services.
I do apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you for your understanding. Your cooperation and contributions are greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Nahid Sultan
