error code 0x426-0x0

Question

After applying a CC Cleaner to delete all unnecessary files, I can't access my Office Products as I am receiving an error code 0x426-0x0. I have restarted my laptop but it didn't work, I must have accidentally deleted a file related to Microsoft Office but Im not sure what to do now. Is there any live chat support with Microsoft? Thanks

Hi, Vasileios Volikakis

As you can see in the image below, your file should be O16.txt (please move or copy the file I shared with you to your desktop), and then right-click on the file to rename it to O16.cmd, as shown in the image below:

Note: There should be two gear moldings instead of an earth shape. Your screenshot shows it as a shortcut, remove the rest of the text and just keep O16.cmd

Then right click and select run as administrator.

Then follow the previous steps.

I can't really sort this out,im sorry. How do I run it? I am indeed right clicking on it but when I try to open it I get the following message.

You need to right click on the file and rename it, then modify it.

Hi Aiden,

Thank you for your reply. I tried the first option through repair office feature but it didnt work because there wasn't nor the Excel option in menu neither the modify feature either. I tried to click to modify Microsoft Office as a whole but it didn't work as well. Any advice?

If the problem persists, try the following steps:

1. Please open the file I shared with you in private messages and save it as a new file on your desktop.
2. Change the file extension from .txt to .cmd, then right-click and run it as an administrator. (If you can't see the file extension, press Windows + E to open File Explorer, go to Options > View, and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" in the advanced settings.)
3. After running the file, an option will appear (yes or no); type y (yes) and press Enter.
4. At this point, four options will appear; enter 2 and press Enter. Sometimes, you may need to press any key to continue (a prompt will appear).
5. After option 2 has completed, enter 3 and press Enter. Again, you may need to press any key to continue (a prompt will appear).
6. After option 3 has completed, enter 4 and press Enter; the command will close automatically.
7. Re-download Office.
