How do I resolve error code 0x4004f00c for Microsoft Office/Outlook?

Hello all,

I have Microsoft 11 Pro, upgraded from a computer (Dell Latitude 5420) purchased in 2022 with a copy of Microsoft 10 included. I opened Word yesterday and suddenly encountered this error (0x4004f00c) - basically that this copy is unactivated.

I have checked the activation status of my Microsoft 11 Pro and it is currently active, and I do not have any other copies of Microsoft Office in Programs and Features. However, it does not show up in my subscriptions but does show up for my school/work accounts. Can somebody suggest a way to resolve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.
