One Note guidelines in DIN A4 format

Hello,
I would like to store guidelines in A4 format in an One Note note page to ensure that I arrange all images and text blocks in such a way that the file is already arranged correctly when printing in A4 format.
Otherwise I always have to move everything around using the print preview in order to avoid page breaks between the headline and image etc.

Is there a solution here? I would be very grateful for that. Thanks!

    Dear MNB15,

    Thank you for reaching out.

First of all, we noticed that you posted under Android. In the Android environment, these settings will not be available. However, if you make the changes and sync with your Office 365 account, they will reflect on your Android device.

You can set the default page template to A4. This will ensure that the page size matches the exact A4 proportions.

First, you need to set the default page template as A4 by using Office 365 OneNote for Windows.

    1. Click on Insert.
    2. Select Page Templates.
    3. Choose A4.

Set it as the default page so that every time you create a new page, it will be in A4 size. Also, the device using the same account will have the changes synced across all your devices, including mobile devices.

Alternatively, you can set the default page size and margins to ensure the content fits within the A4 page.

You can use ruler lines to determine which parts will be cut off and removed during the printing process, so you can avoid having important content cut off by the printer.

Please note that this setting is only available in the Windows version of OneNote. Set the default page and page size on your PC, and it will reflect on your Android device as well

Thank you for your time and patience, we hope you have a great day!

    Kind regards,
