I can not log into my OneDrive account. I only get this message when I do.
The webpage at https://onedrive.live.com/?login_hint=timothyeroberts%40outlook.com might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

    Hi,

If you're unable to access your OneDrive account and see an error message about the page being temporarily down or moved, it could be due to a service outage, account deactivation (especially for school or organization-linked accounts), browser cache issues, or network problems. To resolve this, check Microsoft’s service status, try logging in from a different browser or device, clear your browser cache and cookies, use incognito/private mode, verify your account status at account.microsoft.com, and test your network connection. Disabling browser extensions or switching to a different login URL may also help.

    Regards,

    Jeric.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I see that you’re unable to access your OneDrive account. I'll be happy to assist you with sorting it out.

    What the Error Means

    The message:

"The webpage at https://onedrive.live.com/?login_hint=******@outlook.com might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

...usually indicates one of the following:

    • temporary outage or issue with OneDrive’s login service.

Your account may be in a locked or deprovisioned state, especially if it was previously tied to an organization or school.

browser or network issue preventing proper access.

    Steps to Fix It:

    1. Check Microsoft Service Status

Visit the Microsoft Service Health Dashboard to see if OneDrive is experiencing any outages.

    2. Try a Different Browser or Device

Use Microsoft Edge or Firefox instead of Chrome.

Try logging in from a mobile device or another computer.

    3. Clear Browser Cache

    In Chrome:

Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.

    Clear cached images and files

Restart the browser and try again.

    4. Check Account Status

If your account was previously linked to a school or organization:

It may have been deactivated or locked if the subscription expired.

Try logging in at account.microsoft.com to see if your account is still active.

    5. Use Private/Incognito Mode

Sometimes extensions or cookies interfere with login. Try:

    • Opening Chrome in Incognito Mode or Edge in Private mode by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N.
    • Navigate to onedrive.live.com and log-in. Test if you can successfully login and access that specific link.

I hope this helps you. If you need more assistance, please feel free to reply to this thread.

    Cheers!
