My subscription has been increased from $99.99/year to $129.99/year. Recently there is an additional charged $1.99 since June 19 for premium per monthl. I want to understand what $1.99 is for and the reason for increasing from $99.99/year to $129.00/year.

Thank you.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

To answer your inquiries, according to Microsoft Agent | Moderator Thomas.C - MSFT: https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/questions/5410932/why-is-my-annual-price-increasing-by-30?forum=msoffice-all&referrer=answers

"The reason for the subscription price increase is that the product team has added Copilot to all Office applications starting from January 16, 2025. As a cost for unlimited use of AI, Microsoft has raised the subscription price."

As for the additional $1.99 charge, according to this article: https://www.partnerhelper.com/post/microsoft-365-pricing-update-what-you-need-to-know-for-2025#:~:text=Microsoft%20has%20announced%20a%205%25%20price%20increase%20for,subscriptions%2C%20ensuring%20pricing%20consistency%20across%20all%20purchasing%20platforms.

"Microsoft has announced a 5% price increase for all Microsoft 365 licenses, effective April 1, 2025. This update affects monthly billing plans for annual subscriptions, ensuring pricing consistency across all purchasing platforms. As this adjustment is being implemented directly by Microsoft, it applies to all customers, partners, and resellers globally.'
