Hi,

We are updating one of our existing application's .Net Framework 4.6.1 prerequisite to .Net Framework 4.8.

But when I have a new update for the application. It just updates only the application files but .Net Framework 4.8 is not getting installed, even though it is in the prerequisites.

How do I resolve this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regard,
Vijay

Hi @Vijay V Patel

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Your device already has .Net Framework 4.8 installed? You need to check this. You can determine which .NET Framework versions are installed.

You can refer to this document to Include prerequisites with a ClickOnce application.

Sincerely,
Peng
