Installing MS365

Am a family member of MS 365. What is the best way to install 365 on a new system?

The person who is paying for the subscription will have to send you an invitation to share Microsoft 365 (ask them to have a look at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-your-microsoft-365-family-subscription-b389b9ce-3ae3-4a82-9017-39d79972fcba ).

When you receive the invitation, install using the steps at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/someone-invited-you-to-share-their-microsoft-365-subscription-6a6c098e-1934-4436-9a94-69c92590da5b .

I'm signed in but there is not "install office" option or home page option. All I get is "what can i help you find?"

Since you’re part of a Microsoft 365 Family plan, the easiest way is to sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your subscription.

Here’s how you can do it:

• On your new device, go to https://www.office.com
• Select Sign in and use the Microsoft account email that’s part of your Family subscription.
• Once signed in, click Install Office from the home page.
• Run the installer and follow the prompts to complete the setup.

If you’re not sure which account your Family plan is linked to, you can ask the Family plan organizer to confirm it for you so you can sign in with the correct one.
