Power Point crashing

When I try to create a presentation in Power Point the outline appears, but when I hit "generate slides" the system reverts back to the beginning of the process. What do I do differently?

    1. Can you tell me if you’re using the desktop version of PowerPoint or the web version through Office.com? Or PowerPoint mobile app for Android or iOS?
    2. Also, does this happen with every presentation you try to create, or only with a specific file?
