Cannot Install And Run Cellular Network (SIM Card/Data)

I have this laptop 'HP Elitebook 745 G6' that has a SIM Card tray. I inserted it in and heard the click sound, all looks good. I manually installed the driver 'HP XMM7360 WWAN Drive' after watching some tutorials for the laptop, yet no matter how many times I try to install the driver, it still wont show up in the Device Manager. I tried opening the 'show hidden devices'. I tried manually going to the folder and clicking the 'install' file right under the 'SP142400' folder in C: I tried using the HP Support Solutions to install the driver. Each time I did install, I restarted. But till now it just doesnt show up. The only thing i can think of is the fact that HP driver website asks me to choose Windows 11 or Windows 23H2, 22H2 or 22H2 (4 separate options, the H2 are labeled 64-bit). My laptop is Windows 11 24H2 64-bit. I still am yet to find the cellular option to turn on the data from the sim card I inserted into the laptop.

Hi! Based on your description, it sounds like the issue isn’t just the driver installer, but whether your HP EliteBook 745 G6 actually has a WWAN (cellular modem) module physically installed. The SIM tray by itself does not guarantee a cellular modem is installed. Many EliteBooks ship with only the tray, leaving the M.2 WWAN slot empty.

1. Open Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices. Look under Network adapters for something like Intel XMM 7360, HP Mobile Broadband Module, or similar.
2. If nothing is there (even as a disabled or hidden device), the module is likely not physically present.
3. You can also check in BIOS (F10 on boot) > System Configuration > Built-In Device Options. There should be a toggle for WWAN if the hardware exists.
