A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hello Ruben. If your goal is to disable Copilot and receive a message that your email “does not exist” when you were able to receive a Microsoft security code, it is likely due to an account type mismatch or a misconfigured sign-in flow. Copilot features from Microsoft are tied to account types. Generally, this is Microsoft 365 Personal, Microsoft 365 Family, and work/school accounts which are true Microsoft accounts. A third-party email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), or an alias utilizing a third-party email, will not be recognized as eligible for Copilot features regardless of being linked to your Microsoft account.
If you’re wanting to disable Copilot in Outlook for Windows or Outlook.com, sign-in with a supported Microsoft account (Ex. Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com), and select Settings > Privacy and Data to disable Copilot features. Turn off “experiences that analyze your content” to disable Copilot features.
If you cannot sign-in to your Microsoft account, complete the Microsoft account recovery form to regain access.
Best regards,
