A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
Hi Brandon Mundell,
Error 5000225 indicates that your Azure AD tenant was blocked due to inactivity. This is an automated process, and support will usually direct you to https://aka.ms/TenantLifecycle because reactivation is a self-service process.
Here’s what you can try:
• Sign in as a Global Admin at https://entra.microsoft.com or https://portal.azure.com — you might see an option to renew or reactivate.
• If you had a paid subscription, go to https://admin.microsoft.com → Billing → Your products and renew or reactivate the subscription.
• If you can’t access the portal, contact Microsoft via https://aka.ms/MSPhoneSupport and request a tenant lifecycle escalation.
If the tenant has already been entirely deleted, you’ll need to create a new one. To prevent this in the future, ensure a global admin signs in periodically and keeps at least one active subscription.
