I just installed system updates, and now the Recall Snapshots is not working. I get an error saying it is off. I go to settings and turn it on, and it automatically turns off again.

Hi,

After installing updates, Recall Snapshots may keep turning itself off it might be a permissions, policy, or storage conflict introduced by the update. Start by checking for any new or optional updates under Settings > Windows Update, then restart your PC to refresh the Recall service. If it still turns off, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Recall & Snapshots to see if it’s labeled as "disabled by your organization,' which can happen if a system policy or account restriction was applied. Also, make sure your device has enough free space since Recall needs local storage for snapshots, and check that Storage Sense isn’t automatically deleting temporary data. Lastly, open Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation and confirm that Memory Integrity is on, as Recall relies on these security features. If the issue persists, it may be a known post-update glitch that Microsoft is currently patching.

Kind regards,
