    Hi Allysson,

If you're having trouble accessing the C:\Users[YourUsername] directory on Windows, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check Permissions: Right-click the folder, select Properties, go to the Security tab, and ensure your account has the necessary permissions (Read, Write, etc.).

Run Explorer as Administrator: Right-click the Windows Explorer icon and choose "Run as administrator," then attempt to access the folder again.

Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your computer and enter Safe Mode to check if the issue persists. If access is restored, a software conflict may be causing the problem.

Run CHKDSK: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run chkdsk C: /f /r. This may require a restart and can take some time to process.

Scan for Malware: Use Windows Defender or a reliable antivirus program to conduct a full system scan to rule out malware.

System Restore: If available, restore the system to a previous point where the issue didn't occur. Search for "Create a restore point" and follow the prompts.

Create a New User Profile: Consider creating a new user account to see if you can access your files from there.

Recovery Options: If other methods fail, use Windows installation media to access recovery options. You can try Startup Repair or run commands like sfc /scannow or DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.

Are you getting any errors, or just loading when you are trying to access these folders?

    Best,

    Rez
