When running with grok-4-fast-reasoning and a few other grok models im getting error 503. They used to work before, although would become unavailable sometimes

ok, the old model i had dont work, so im trying to reimplement it. However, when i try to see my services, i get this

Try Basic Troubleshooting (Check for Transient Issues):

Check Azure Service Health: Before anything else, check the official Azure Service Health dashboard to see if there is a known outage for Azure AI Services or Azure Resource Manager in your specific region.

Refresh and Retry: As the error suggests, wait 10-15 minutes and try again.

Clear Browser Cache: Log out of the Azure portal, clear your browser's cache and cookies, log back in, and try to access the deployments.

Try a Different Browser/Incognito Mode: This helps rule out any issues with browser extensions or a corrupted local session.

Also Verify your permissions of the resource group that has your project in Access control (IAM).

honestly, so far grok-4-fast-reasoning is the best available (cheap and extremely good). fixing it should be top priority.

There is no confirmed root cause yet. The issue appears to be an intermittent engine crash resulting in occasional 503 / timeout responses.
Microsoft PG engineers are in sync with xAI team to determine next troubleshooting steps and continue investigation.

We truly appreciate your feedback — especially regarding the importance of grok-4-fast-reasoning for your use case — and I have shared this sentiment with the internal team as well.

I will keep you updated as soon as the engineering team provides any new findings.
