Internet Explorer mode stopped working

IE mode has stopped working. Websites (pages) that were previously added work in this mode, but new websites that you add do not work. It also does not show all the websites that were saved for this mode.

The icon for switching to this IE mode has also disappeared. This is most likely related to the new versions of the Edge browser.

This mode is important to me for viewing HIKVISION cameras.

    Hello Володимир,

    This happens because recent versions of Edge have changed how IE Mode works, The button for manual switching has disappeared, manually added pages only work for 30 days, and now Microsoft recommends using a managed site list (Enterprise Site List) to maintain compatibility. Make sure that in Settings → Default Browser the option “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode” is set to Allow (as you already have), and if you want it to work without limits, create an XML list with your URLs and configure it through Group Policy or the registry following Microsoft’s official guide.

    You can also try re-enabling the button from edge://settings/appearance if it appears, although in many versions it’s no longer available. As an alternative, HIKVISION offers client software and plugins that avoid relying on IE Mode.
