Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

Based on your inputs, it seems that there is an issue with the display driver. In this case, kindly follow the steps provided by Q&A Assist. However, if the issue persists, may I know the make and model of your Graphics card? so that I can provide you steps wherein we will do a clean installation of the graphics card driver.

Screen flickering can be caused by several factors, including display settings, driver issues, or hardware problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the flickering:

    1. Check Display Settings: Ensure that your display settings are configured correctly. Right-click on the desktop, select Display settings, and check the resolution and refresh rate. Make sure they are set to recommended values.
    2. Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause flickering. Go to the Device Manager, find your display adapter, right-click it, and select Update driver.
    3. Check for Hardware Issues: If the problem persists, it could be a hardware issue. Check the connections of your monitor or laptop display. If possible, try connecting to a different monitor to see if the flickering continues.
    4. Disable Hardware Acceleration: Sometimes, hardware acceleration in applications can cause flickering. Try disabling it in the settings of the specific application you are using.

To project your laptop screen to a main screen, you can use the following steps:

    1. Press Windows key + P to open the projection options.
    2. Choose from the options available: PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, or Second screen only.
      • Duplicate will show the same content on both screens.
      • Extend will allow you to use the main screen as an extension of your laptop's display.
    3. If you are using a projector or external display, ensure it is powered on and properly connected to your laptop.

If you encounter issues while projecting, refer to the troubleshooting steps for display projection to ensure a successful connection.
