Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I am unable to sign in to my Microsoft account <Mod remove PII> @gmail.com because the phone number linked to the account is no longer active, and I cannot receive the verification code.

This account was only used to play Minecraft. I have never used Outlook, Skype, Xbox, Microsoft 365, and I have never purchased apps or subscriptions from the Microsoft Store.

I still remember some details about the account and can provide additional information if needed to verify ownership.

I would like to request assistance to recover this account or update the security information (remove the old phone number and add a new one).

Additionally, I would like to provide proof of ownership.

I have previously logged in to Minecraft on my laptop using this Microsoft account. The account appeared in the Minecraft Launcher with the Xbox profile name “arnjinx”, as shown in the attached screenshot.

This confirms that the account has been successfully used to access and play Minecraft on this device before I lost access to the phone number linked to the account.
